Programs
Programs offered by C.A.R.E.S.:
“in-the-dash” program: The program is a 30
minute audience participation curriculum which will be held in all
Middle and High schools. C.A.R.E.S. has teamed up with a local youth
group called VOX, Voice of a Generation. This is a group of fifteen high
schools and college age youths which put on a drama production to two
specific songs called “Hero” and “Last Word”. They sing about the bad
choices we make and how we can have hope and overcome them. Between
these two songs, a motivational speaker will be on stage and influence
audience participation. C.A.R.E.S. will also be represented and speak on
behalf of survivors of suicide and what the affects are to the families
left behind.
