The site designed to be informative, healing, user friendly, and advertisement free. There is a monitored discussion board which accompanies the site. Give an Hour is a non profit organization which provides free mental health services to U.S. military personnel and families affected by the current conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The Back Door Counseling provides private and strictly confidential counseling service for survivors of suicide, those suffering a loss from a sudden or traumatic incident, those suffering from unrecognized grief; and those individuals, and their loved ones, in extremely stressful occupations, such as first responders and other mental health providers.
